YOP2013

More hats this week..  The first 2 are from Fridays F/O..

The Beaufort Hat is wonderful looking and  one of the most fun projects to knit...

A four row repeat..and I always managed to forget round 3!

I plan to keep this pattern handy..fun and fast!

I finished the Pallidrome Hat.. thick and warm.  The yarn I used was not labeled..too bad, I would purchase more.  Soft and smooth..

The cable pattern is the ribbing and the ribbing is the body of the hat..

This is the twist hat...it is off the needles but I have to decide on the embellishment...

The pattern calls for a button attached to the open section, I think I'm going to make a nice flower..

I have been knitting flowers for a project..I like the snow crocus here...it fits the weather...

Although a snow storm hit Boston and most of the state..we got rain..lots of rain..and wind...we lost another 10 feet of beach..
The sign and fence in this picture got washed away the day after I took this...

but the Pine Grosbeak are feeding in flocks!

They are trying to bulk up for their migration trip up to Canada and the Arctic for the summer..

They love the cold weather!

The bright red colored are the males...

Sure sign that spring is on it's way!

till next week..stay safe
