I saw these at the Christmas Tree Shop..( a great trinket store) and decided to go home and make one.
Stick it all together ....
Pal got a tie..it flashes colored faerie lights..His tumor is smack dab in the middle of his throat so I had to make sure it had only the slightest elastic band around his neck.
I finally figured out an embilishment for the
Twist Hat...
It is supposed to look like this:
I took some decorative hair clips..
ta dah...!
I was sent this wonderful gift from Learner's Perknit.. another wonderful blogger with a great site full of knitting and design ideas..there is some wonderful YAK fiber (brown on the end) that I cannot wait to work with!
Despite my atheist leanings..I do love this blessing for St. Patty's Day...
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand

What a wonderful gift of yarn! I have yet to have more time for knitting and crocheting. Hopefully soon.
ReplyDeleteYou St. Paddy's headband is adorable--and oh my goodness, that pile of yarn! Such lovely stuff. I need to find me some nicer friends... ;) Can't wait to see what you create from all of it.

Really love the headband and belated St Patricks Day wishes to you all the way from the Emerald Isle. Love all the yarn and that there is a traditional Irish blessing and my favourite of all, so much so I've got it to stitch as one of this years stitching projects. :)
