WIP'S...Hump Day's...
This week I continue to struggle with chaining and counts.....I would like to blame it on my lupus, but it has nothing to do with my fingers...It's my brain!
I am better at making loops (except the magic loop, still practicing), chaining into the loops, and following a pattern that way..but doing loops only is pretty limiting...
I am stilling working on a bag from Attic24
I'm using Sugar and Cream leftovers.
and I started a "yo yo" square..sorta...again, by not paying attention I turn dc's into sc, sc's into hdc's..but I have finished a square..I'm using some white and pink cotton mill ends and mixed with some cat fur of course, cuz it's the right price for me!
I see alot of crochet peeps use the word "frog"..am I to understand that to mean going from this:
to this:
???
wishing everyone a happy 4th! Mary

Yes, frogging is ripping out your work. Love your square!
ReplyDeleteLet's hope you did that frogging and not the kitty! Counting gets easier as you go. I crochet with a pen & paper near by and use scraps of different colored yarn to tell me where my last significant count was. I crochet on my lunch break and tend to loose count when people start talking to me, this can be frustrating. Keep up the good work, I am excited to see how the bag looks as I have yet to crochet one and I have one on my list.
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up at Hookin On Hump Day! I have made that bag from Attic 24 and it turned out HUGE! Too big, actually. But it was an easy, fun bag to make. Looks like you've got a great start to it!
